Grape variety: Cabernet Franc only

|
The vineyard has always been famous for the Cabernet Franc, which was planted for the first time in the middle of the 19th century. Le Clos des Cordeliers cultivates that grape variety on 18 hectares. The grape skin of the Cabernet Franc is red and the pulp is white. It has distinctive character: deep and bright ruby color, fine aromas of red fruit (red current, cherry) and floral subtleties (violet, iris), fine and vevelty tannin, with a fresh and balanced finish. |
Cabernet Franc is a pleasant wine, the unctuousness is a delight in the mouth. Less tannic and astringent than Cabernet-Sauvignon, it is also more supple. Fleshy, the Cabernet Franc, according to its maturing, also offers an interesting potential of wine aging. |

Thanks to his expertise, Sébastien RATRON produces 2 white wines 100% Cabernet France: Crémant de Loire Blanc de Noir, L'Eclat du Noir (still white wine VIN DE FRANCE).
